IT Hotdesk Announces New Business Worth Almost £100k

27th August 2010

Aberdeen-based IT Hotdesk has secured a raft of new contract wins and extensions estimated to be worth around £95k from companies within the oil and gas, building and finance sectors. The new business includes a one year contract with McLeod & Aitken at a value of more than £25K. The contract with one of the largest quantity surveying, project management and CDM co-ordination practices in the UK will see IT Hotdesk create a comprehensive HR management system and provide IT support to its Aberdeen and Leeds operations.

The other new business, which equates to a combined value of £70k, includes Drillmar Resources, Harlen Fabrication Services and SUBC Group plus renewals from Forbes Lawson Wealth Management and GOT Aberdeen & Angola. The series of contract wins mark the one year anniversary of the business - which officially launched in September 2009.

Having secured more than £450,000 worth of business since its launch, IT Hotdesk has also revealed plans to recruit an additional four IT specialists during the next 12-18 months to support its growth strategy.

IT Hotdesk Director, Gordon Christie, comments, "It is incredibly satisfying to see these new contracts come to fruition and to renew existing contracts after successfully providing IT services to the businesses. This puts IT Hotdesk in a very strong position for further growth in the coming year. We're entering an exciting phase as we're also searching for new premises in Aberdeen to support our imminent growth. As always we remain committed to maintaining the support we give to our current clients, while we continue to build on our client base in a steady but sustainable way."
