IT Hotdesk Announces New Business Worth £100k

15th March 2010

Aberdeen based IT Hotdesk has secured a series of contracts to end a strong first half to its financial year. The IT and communication solutions company announces today that it has won a significant one year contract with Pegasus Express estimated to be worth in excess of £60k. This win follows a series of new contracts with a number of north east businesses since the beginning of 2010. The other contracts, which equate to a further combined value of £40k, include 3B Consultancy Services Limited, Lionrock Energy Services and CFine, a registered Scottish charity.

Having secured more than £350k worth of business as the first half to the company's financial year comes to an end, IT Hotdesk is now on target to exceed its projected £500k turnover. It has also revealed that a recruitment drive to support its growth strategy is expected during the next six months.

The contract with Pegasus Express, a business which specialises in delivering goods across UK and Europe, will see IT Hotdesk monitor and manage the Pegasus IT estate across its UK depots. IT Hotdesk Director Gordon Christie, comments, "This is a significant piece of business for our team as we will be taking on the IT infrastructure of the five Pegasus depots based in England and Scotland namely Aberdeen, Dundee, Inverness, Glasgow and Preston. Our initial one year contract with Pegasus has scope to develop into long term business for IT Hotdesk."

IT Hotdesk offers a range of services including IT audits, data recovery and protection, desktop support, hosted applications and network and server design and implementation.

Brian Goodall, Managing Director of Pegasus Express, says, "A robust IT service is at the heart of our business and is imperative to the smooth running of all operations. Our customers rely on our tailor made online bookings system which allows them to arrange collections and monitor their deliveries, at any time of day or night. The team at IT Hotdesk were highly professional and had the knowledge we needed to tap into. We look forward to working with them to create a new centralised system for our UK depots over the coming year."

Gordon continues, "IT Hotdesk was founded on principles of providing businesses a quality service coupled with a superior level of customer care, and our reputation for providing this has undoubtedly been an attraction to new customers. Our existing customers are equally important to us though, and they will continue to benefit from the same exceptional level of customer care that they have since day one."
